• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Call: Approximately 1 day per week and 1 weekend per 6 weeks (varies per schedule)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,260–$1,360/week

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technician in the operating room / perioperative setting
• Experience with Ortho, Spine, General, Urology, Vascular, and GYN procedures
• Experience with Da Vinci robotic systems preferred (robotic-assisted procedures)
• Proficiency in English (read, write, speak)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the surgical team during intra-operative procedures to promote patient safety and positive outcomes
• Prepare, handle, and maintain surgical instrumentation and sterile equipment for operating room cases
• Display aseptic technique and adhere to infection prevention protocols in all surgical duties
• Perform sponge, sharps, and instrument counts according to hospital policy and procedure
• Demonstrate knowledge and adherence to professional standards of practice for Surgical Technologists
• Apply medical terminology, metric system knowledge, and clear communication with patients, families, and the surgical team
• Prioritize, plan, and problem-solve effectively in a fast-paced operating room environment
• Respond promptly to urgent or emergency situations as needed, including assistance during trauma or stat cases
• Assist with robotic-assisted procedures (Da Vinci) as required or available
