Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (DMS)
• ARDMS double registration required: General Abdomen, Vascular, and OB/GYN
• Diagnostic Imaging certification required
• Ability to work independently, manage variable schedules, and prioritize patient flow
• Strong communication, patient care, and organizational skills
• Experience with hospital-based sonography and vascular/OB-GYN protocols preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of ultrasound procedures including general abdomen, vascular, and OB/GYN studies
• Operate ultrasound equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation
• Manage patient flow, triage imaging requests, and work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and imaging logs in accordance with department policies
• Collaborate with radiologists, sonographers, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure excellent patient care
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and sonography quality assurance standards
