- Patient Volume: Approximately 8-12 patients per day
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of ultrasound technologist or sonographer experience required; 2+ years preferred in high-risk OB, MFM, or detailed anatomy ultrasound care
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a 2-year AMA-approved ultrasound program required
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS-OB) required
- State licensure or registration as a diagnostic medical sonographer required
- BLS preferred
- Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach
Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures according to established radiology and maternal-fetal medicine protocols
- Prepare patients appropriately and ensure a smooth, efficient imaging workflow
- Operate ultrasound equipment and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
- Support advanced prenatal imaging for high-risk obstetric patients
- Collaborate with obstetric providers, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, nurses, and support staff
- Contribute to timely diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment planning for complex pregnancies
- Maintain a professional, compassionate experience for every patient encounter
