- Shift Duration: 8-hour nights
- Shift Schedule: Mid shift, 5x8-hour schedule (3:30 PM - 12:00 AM) with some overnight shifts as needed
- Weekend Coverage: Weekend rotation required
- Call: On-call required if census permits
- Orientation: 16 hours
Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist in an acute care hospital setting
- Current BLS certification from AHA
- ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer credential
- Experience producing quality diagnostic ultrasound images
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital imaging environment
- Strong communication, patient care, and patient transport skills
- Ability to adapt to weekend rotation and on-call expectations
Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of ultrasound procedures and generate high-quality diagnostic images
- Prepare, process, and maintain records of services performed
- Adjust ultrasound equipment as needed and promptly report any malfunctions
- Transport patients to and from the department as required
- Maintain scheduled appointments while accommodating unscheduled exams
- Support smooth department workflow and deliver excellent patient care
- Contribute to a professional, team-oriented hospital imaging environment
