Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience preferred in a hospital or diagnostic imaging setting
  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
  • RDCS, RVT, and/or RDMS (AB, OB-GYN) preferred or obtainable after hire
  • BLS required, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
  • Strong knowledge of PACS and EMR workflows
  • Ability to maintain quality, accuracy, and professionalism in a fast-paced clinical environment

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality echocardiograms, stress echos, and general ultrasound examinations
  • Complete abdomen, OB/GYN, and vascular imaging studies according to established protocols
  • Prepare patients and assist the radiologist and pathologist during procedures as needed
  • Document, analyze, and maintain QC data to support precision and compliance
  • Use EMR and PACS systems to generate, complete, transmit, and release exam information and images
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area, including equipment checks and temperature monitoring
  • Communicate equipment issues promptly and collaborate with other departments to support excellent patient care
  • Assist with patient transport, front desk support, supply monitoring, and other departmental needs as assigned
