Vascular Tech Job Details

• Location: Stevens Point, WI 54481 (Wisconsin healthcare job)
• Setting: Hospital – Ultrasound Department
• Contract Length: 13-week travel assignment
• Start Date: September 29, 2025
• End Date: December 27, 2025
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• Hours: 40 hours per week (72 hours biweekly guaranteed)
• On Call: Rotational, average 1 day per week and weekends as needed
• Float: May float to other south region locations
• Charting System: EPIC
• Ultrasound Equipment: Philips Epiq machines

Vascular Technologist Qualifications

• Associate Degree or Certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• Current RDMS (AB) and RVT certifications required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• Minimum 2 years of vascular ultrasound experience in a hospital or clinical setting
• Proficient in vascular imaging, including vein mapping and sclerotherapy procedures
• Professional appearance; scrubs of any color permitted

Key Responsibilities for Vascular Tech

• Perform comprehensive vascular exams, including vein mapping, varithena, and sclerotherapy
• Complete 6-8 vascular ultrasound exams daily, ensuring accuracy and patient comfort
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care
• Document findings accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Float to additional locations as needed and participate in on-call rotations
• Maintain a positive, professional work environment in the hospital setting
