Qualifications / Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of a JRCERT (JCERT)?accredited radiologic technology program
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- At least 1 year of experience as an X?Ray / Radiologic Technologist preferred—hospital or acute care experience a plus
- Experience with PACS, teleradiology systems, and digital imaging workflow
- Strong communication, patient care, customer service, and computer skills
Key Responsibilities
- Operate general radiology equipment including portable X?ray units, C?arm, fluoroscopy/R&F, and PACS systems
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures (radiographs) as ordered by physicians and radiologists
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and positioning for quality diagnostic images
- Maintain accurate records, complete exams in the teleradiology/PACS system, and follow image archiving protocols
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and the broader healthcare team to deliver high?quality patient care
- Adhere to radiation safety standards, infection control, and departmental policies
