  • Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
  • Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,110 - $2,220
  • Openings: 1
  • Orientation: Hospital orientation followed by one shift on the unit
  • Parking: Free parking in designated areas

Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
  • PALS preferred
  • Strong neuro and trauma critical care experience required
  • Experience with ventilator management, critical care drips, drain management, stroke care, and hemodynamic lines
  • Ability to manage chest tubes, tracheostomy care, and complex acuity changes
  • Cerner experience preferred
  • Strong assessment skills and the ability to work confidently in a high-acuity ICU environment
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to medical, surgical, trauma, neuro, ortho, and interventional ICU patients
  • Monitor and manage patients with complex critical care needs, including ICP monitoring and EVDs
  • Support safe, effective care for patients with sepsis, ARDS, COPD, stroke, COVID, pneumonia, and multisystem trauma
  • Maintain appropriate patient ratios based on acuity, typically 1:2
  • Collaborate with charge nurses, respiratory therapy, hospitalists, intensivists, and ancillary teams
  • Float within scope to cardiac care, medical stepdown, cardiac stepdown, or PICU if experienced
  • Use strong clinical judgment to prioritize care and respond to changing patient conditions
  • Document care accurately and efficiently using the assigned charting system
  • Promote a professional, team-oriented environment while delivering compassionate bedside care
