Travel ICU RN Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,090-$2,200
- Location: Los Angeles, California 90017
- Start Date: 11/16/2026
- Assignment Length: 26 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour days, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Schedule: Self-scheduling with every other weekend coverage required
- Unit Type: ICU / Critical Care
- Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics
ICU Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active California RN license required at submission
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Epic EHR experience required
- Cardiovascular ICU experience required, including open heart and balloon pump experience
- Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation, arterial line management, ventilated patients, blood product administration, central line care, PICC line management, and IV insulin protocols
- Relias EKG exam and onsite EKG competency required prior to start
- VIP, MAB, or CPI in-person certification required
- References required
- Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine not required
- Smoke/nicotine-free compliance required
ICU Nursing Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality critical care nursing to adult and geriatric ICU patients
- Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias, ABGs, and other key cardiac and respiratory indicators
- Manage arterial lines, central lines, PICCs, ventilated patients, and IV insulin protocols
- Support cardiovascular patients, including open heart and balloon pump cases
- Administer blood products and collaborate on titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
- Work closely with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote safe, efficient patient care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to a collaborative ICU environment
