ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Job in Mooresville, Indiana
ICU Registered Nurse travel opportunity in Mooresville, IN for a skilled critical care RN seeking 13 weeks of hands-on ICU experience in a supportive community hospital. Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
- Strong experience caring for critically ill adult patients
- Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and recognize clinical changes quickly
- Ventilator management experience in a critical care setting
- Experience titrating vasoactive drips according to provider orders and protocols
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Comfortable working independently in a community hospital ICU
- Flexible, team-oriented, and patient-focused approach
- Willingness to assist across departments during emergent situations
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality bedside care to ICU patients with complex medical needs
- Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition in a fast-paced critical care environment
- Manage ventilated patients and support respiratory interventions as needed
- Titrate vasoactive medications according to provider orders and clinical protocols
- Care for patients with sepsis, respiratory failure, DKA, stroke, and post-operative conditions
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care
- Support rapid response and code situations when needed
- Float within scope and competency to support Med/Surg, PCU, and ED assignments
