Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience required
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Experience with ventilator management required
- Experience managing vasoactive drips required
- Comfort working with multiple medication infusions and critical care patients
- EPIC experience preferred
- Ability to adapt to changing unit needs and occasional floating to a medical-surgical setting when census is low
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill ICU patients
- Monitor and manage complex patient conditions in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Administer and titrate vasoactive medications and other critical infusions as ordered
- Manage ventilated patients and support respiratory care needs
- Perform ongoing assessments, document care accurately in EPIC, and communicate changes promptly
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, effective treatment plans
- Float to the medical-surgical ward as needed based on census and unit needs
- Contribute to a supportive, flexible team culture while delivering excellent care
