Job Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Preferred: 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
  • Preferred: NIH Stroke Scale certification
  • Preferred: CCRN certification
  • Preferred: Dialysis, SLED, or equivalent critical care experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
  • Monitor patient status closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with clinical protocols
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care team members to support high-quality patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure safe, compassionate care delivery
  • Support patient and family education as appropriate within the ICU setting
  • Demonstrate flexibility, strong assessment skills, and effective communication in a fast-paced critical care environment
