Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
- Minimum of 1 year of recent full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Preferred: 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
- Preferred: NIH Stroke Scale certification
- Preferred: CCRN certification
- Preferred: Dialysis, SLED, or equivalent critical care experience
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Monitor patient status closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with clinical protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care team members to support high-quality patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure safe, compassionate care delivery
- Support patient and family education as appropriate within the ICU setting
- Demonstrate flexibility, strong assessment skills, and effective communication in a fast-paced critical care environment
