ICU Registered Nurse Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care inpatient experience or current ICU nursing experience
- At least 1 year of travel nursing experience
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to thrive in a high-acuity critical care environment
- Availability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled
- Ability to complete required onboarding and compliance documentation
Critical Care Nursing Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care to critically ill adult ICU patients
- Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Administer medications and perform ICU nursing interventions according to established protocols
- Support patients and families with clear communication and compassionate guidance
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold unit standards for quality and safety
