Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,040 - $2,150 (competitive travel nurse pay)
• Assignment Duration: 8 weeks (May 2, 2026 – June 27, 2026)
• Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) — critical care nursing
• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (Day/Night: 7am–7pm & 7pm–7am)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nurse
• Weekend/Holiday Rotation: As needed
• On-call Requirements: None

Required Qualifications — ICU Nurse (Minneapolis, MN)

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience required
• Active Minnesota RN license (compact license accepted if valid in MN)
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (required upon submission)
• Strong clinical skills in hemodynamic monitoring, medication administration, and complex patient assessments
• Experience with ventilator management and multi-disciplinary critical care teams preferred
• Ability to float to PCU, Medical-Surgical, and Telemetry units as needed
• CCRN or other critical care certification is a plus (preferred)

ICU Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
• Monitor patient status, interpret hemodynamic data, administer medications, and perform complex assessments
• Manage ventilators and advanced critical care equipment in collaboration with respiratory therapy
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
• Float to PCU, Medical-Surgical, and Telemetry units as needed to support patient care
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as required
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and uphold patient safety and infection control standards
