- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM; possible weekend coverage
- Shift Duration: 10-hour days
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $12,850 - $13,770
- Patient Population: Adults age 60+
- Charting System: Cerner
- Orientation: Approximately 4 hours, remote prior to start
Job Requirements
- Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional cardiology or cardiology physician practice
- Active Arizona medical license preferred; licensing support may be available if needed
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Comfortable working in both hospital and outpatient clinic environments
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills with patients and clinical staff
- Experience with Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide interventional cardiology coverage, including STEMI response and cardiology consults
- Perform TEEs and support a steady volume of procedures and consults
- Evaluate and manage patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing, and support staff
- Deliver high-quality cardiovascular care for an adult patient population, including older adults
- Maintain timely documentation and clear communication across the care team
- Adapt to a rotating hospital and clinic workflow while delivering consistent clinical excellence
