Job Requirements

• Board certification in Interventional Cardiology (required)
• Active and unrestricted physician license (or ability to obtain Arizona license promptly)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in interventional cardiology
• Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology
• Current certifications: ABLS, ACLS, BLS
• Ability to start credentialing promptly (estimated timeframe: 15 days)
• Cath lab and PCI experience preferred — experience managing STEMI activations and emergent coronary interventions

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour STEMI call coverage (beeper only) for the cardiology department
• Respond to cardiac emergencies and deliver high-quality interventional care, including emergent cath lab activations and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (ER, ICU, cardiology colleagues, cath lab staff) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters and procedures
• Adhere to hospital protocols and participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
