Job Details
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $6,150 – $7,280 (competitive locum tenens pay)
- Location: Phoenix, AZ 85037 — local Phoenix healthcare job in a major metro with outdoor recreation and a strong quality of life
- Schedule: 7 days a week, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM MST (per diem shifts)
- Call: Rotated with current IR practice, including rotating holiday coverage
- Duration: Per diem / locum tenens assignment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an interventional radiologist
- Completion of an Interventional Radiology fellowship (IR fellowship)
- ABR Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology certification (ABR certified)
- Proficiency performing a wide range of interventional radiology procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology procedures including biopsy, drain placement, nephrostomy, gastrostomy, embolization, IVC filter placement, fistulagram with declot, biliary and venous interventions
- Provide general fluoroscopy procedures as needed and offer on-call coverage per the rotation
- Participate in a rotating call schedule and holiday coverage with the current IR practice
- Meet productivity expectations (minimum 61 RVUs per shift)
- Utilize Powerscribe 1 dictation system for reporting and documentation
