Interventional Radiologist Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience practicing interventional radiology
- Board certification in Interventional Radiology, or board eligibility within 5 years
- Current physician licensure or eligibility to practice in Pennsylvania
- Clinical proficiency with the interventional radiology procedures required for the assignment
- Ability to provide onsite weekday coverage and participate in overnight and weekend call
- Strong communication skills, sound clinical judgment, and a commitment to patient safety
Interventional Radiology Physician Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures
- Evaluate patients before procedures and provide appropriate post-procedure care
- Respond to urgent inpatient and outpatient interventional radiology needs
- Provide reliable overnight and weekend call coverage
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, technologists, and other members of the care team
- Document patient assessments, procedures, and follow-up recommendations accurately
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and professionalism in all patient encounters
