- Setting Highlights: High-volume Labor & Delivery unit with a Level III NICU, Newborn Nursery, and strong interdisciplinary support
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- Previous travel nurse experience preferred; must have completed at least one assignment in a comparable facility
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring, and MOAB
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity obstetrics and women’s health environment
- Experience with charge responsibilities is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for patients across labor, delivery, postpartum, and antepartum needs
- Monitor and manage high-risk obstetric patients, including PIH, GDM, pre-eclampsia, eclampsia, HELLP, and postpartum hemorrhage
- Titrate Pitocin, manage insulin and magnesium drips, and perform cervical exams
- Assist with epidural placement and collaborate with anesthesia as needed
- Circulate cesarean deliveries, support operative vaginal deliveries, and provide neonatal resuscitation
- Support safe newborn transition, including skin-to-skin care and lactation-friendly practices
- Document assessments accurately and collaborate closely with the care team to ensure safe, compassionate patient outcomes
