Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) – Edmonds, WA
Experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Edmonds, Washington, in the greater Seattle and Puget Sound area. This high-acuity women’s health role is ideal for an L&D RN who is confident supporting patients through labor, delivery, postpartum, OB triage, antepartum, and normal newborn care.

- Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
- Shift Duration: 12 hours
- Shifts Per Week: 3
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,110 - $2,220
- Unit Focus: Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, OB Triage, Antepartum, and Normal Newborn Care
Job Requirements
- 2 years of recent experience in LDRP, Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and newborn care
- Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission
- Compact license accepted
- Current certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
- ACLS preferred
- Experience with Epic charting preferred
- Ability to work in a high-acuity obstetric setting and float as needed
- Strong clinical skills in maternal, fetal, and newborn nursing care
Responsibilities
- Provide expert nursing care to patients in labor, delivery, postpartum, antepartum, and OB triage
- Support vaginal deliveries, cesarean deliveries, and circulating in the OR
- Monitor fetal heart tracings and respond appropriately to changes in maternal or fetal status
- Start and maintain adult IVs and assist with blood and blood product administration
- Manage epidural pumps, PCA pumps, insulin, and magnesium sulfate therapy
- Perform sterile vaginal exams and support high-risk obstetric care
- Provide couplet care and support normal newborn assessments and transitions
- Document accurately in Epic and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team
- Promote a safe, compassionate, and patient-centered experience for every family
