Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
- Current Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission
- Compact RN license or applicable Washington state nursing license required before start
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring
- Strong fetal monitoring and sterile vaginal exam skills required
- Experience with high-risk perinatal care strongly preferred
- Comfort working in a fast-paced maternity care environment with labor, postpartum, antepartum, and triage support
- Experience with EPIC charting required
- Ability to work weekends and maintain a flexible travel nurse schedule
- Must be prepared to provide references and complete standard compliance items prior to start
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for laboring, postpartum, and antepartum patients
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean section support, and recovery care
- Perform fetal monitoring, sterile vaginal exams, and related labor assessments
- Support patients through postpartum education, newborn care, and breastfeeding guidance
- Collaborate with providers, surgical support, and interdisciplinary maternity care team members
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EPIC
- Contribute to safe, compassionate care for high-risk obstetric patients
