Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Assignment in Voorhees, NJ
Travel Labor & Delivery RN job in Voorhees, New Jersey. Join a high-acuity Level III Labor & Delivery team caring for mothers and babies in a supportive South Jersey clinical setting. This 13-week travel nursing assignment offers consistent day shifts, experience with antepartum and high-risk obstetric patients, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic women’s health environment near Philadelphia.

- Schedule: 3 x 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekend/Holiday Coverage: Every other weekend and holiday coverage as needed
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,360 - $2,480
- Start Date: 10/12/2026
- Setting: Level III high-risk Labor & Delivery
- Location: Voorhees, NJ 08043
- Additional Assignment Notes: May float within scope to support the High-Risk Obstetric unit when needed
Job Requirements
- Active New Jersey RN license required at submission
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery or high-risk obstetric nursing experience required
- Recent specialty experience within the last 12 months preferred and/or required by compliance standards
- ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required
- Must pass a dysrhythmia exam within 72 hours of signing
- Must be willing to float to the High-Risk Obstetric unit as needed
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Strong teamwork, critical thinking, and high-risk obstetric care skills
- At least 1 year of nursing experience required if specialty experience is not otherwise specified
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns in a high-acuity Labor & Delivery unit
- Monitor fetal heart rate, maternal status, and patient progress, responding promptly to changes in condition
- Support antepartum and high-risk OB patients, including those requiring continuous monitoring and specialized nursing care
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver coordinated patient care
- Prepare for and assist with deliveries, obstetric emergencies, and unit procedures as needed
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately in the electronic charting system
- Maintain a calm, confident presence while delivering exceptional bedside care in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Adapt to unit needs and support floating within scope when required
