• Assignment Type: Travel RN (Labor & Delivery Nurse)
• Start Date: March 30, 2026
• End Date: June 28, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed)
• Schedule: Every third weekend required
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,070 – $2,180

Requirements & Qualifications

• Active RN license (Labor & Delivery specialty preferred)
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every third weekend (night shift L&D RN)
• Completion of all required onboarding health screenings and documentation
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient education skills

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in the Birth Center (Labor & Delivery)
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, utilize electronic fetal monitoring (EFM), administer medications, and assist with labor and delivery procedures
• Support peri-partum and immediate postpartum care, including maternal-newborn assessments, stabilization, and neonatal resuscitation support as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes (team-based care)
• Accurately document care in the electronic medical record (EMR) and maintain clear communication during handoffs
• Provide patient and family education, emotional support, and discharge planning guidance for new parents
