• Location: Cardiac Cath Lab, Hickory, NC 28601
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 10, 2026 – August 9, 2026)
• Employment Type: Travel Allied Health / On-site
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours
• Shift: 10-hour days (07:00 – 17:30)
• Setting: Cardiac catheterization lab / interventional cardiology
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,260–$2,430

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab or interventional cardiology setting
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Ability to float within scope of practice as needed
• Experience with Cerner EHR preferred
• Ability to perform plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments
• Cardiovascular technologist / Cath Lab Tech credentials preferred (e.g., RCIS) — if applicable

Primary Responsibilities

• Support cardiac catheterization procedures (angiography, PCI) by preparing equipment, monitoring vitals, and maintaining sterile technique
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the multidisciplinary care team, physicians, patients, and families
• Assist patients with activities of daily living as appropriate during peri-procedural care, including hygiene, nutrition, and ambulation
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial support
• Document patient care, procedures, and interventions accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Evaluate learning needs and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, and condition
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients and promote radiation safety and infection control practices
