Travel Cath Lab Technologist (Cardiovascular Technologist) – 13-Week Contract – Olathe, KS (66061)
Travel Cath Lab Technologist in Olathe, KS – 13-week cardiac cath lab contract; ARRT/RCIS and ACLS/BLS required. Join a state-of-the-art Cardiac Cath Lab serving the Kansas City metropolitan area. Job Details – Travel Cath Lab Tech
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,490 - $2,670 (competitive pay for travel cath lab jobs)
- Location: Olathe, KS 66061 (Kansas City metropolitan area)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 19, 2026 – July 19, 2026)
- Shift: 10-hour day shifts (7:00am – 5:30pm, Monday – Friday, one day off during the week)
- Hours per Week: 40
- On-Call: 1-2 shifts during the week (5:30pm – 7:00am); every 3rd or 4th weekend
- Weekend/Holiday: Weekend on-call as scheduled; holidays based on unit needs
- Orientation: Paid orientation included
Job Requirements – Cath Lab / Cardiovascular Technologist
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology (IR) experience required (Cath Lab tech experience preferred)
- Ability to float to EP Lab; EP Lab experience a plus
- Experience with pacemaker procedures and device management
- Preferred: 2 years Cath/IR and EP experience; RNs with Cath/IR scrub experience are encouraged to apply
- Valid ARRT or RCIS certification required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Nicotine-free facility compliance
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR is a plus
Responsibilities – Cath Lab Technologist / Cardiac Cath Lab
- Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures and interventional radiology cases as a skilled cath lab technologist
- Float between Cath Lab, IR, and EP Lab as needed to support cardiovascular services
- Scrub and circulate during procedures, including pacemaker insertions and device implants
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergent cases promptly
- Maintain high standards of patient care, radiation safety, and sterile technique
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (cardiologists, nurses, IR physicians, and support staff) to ensure optimal outcomes
- Complete orientation, credentialing, and competency requirements prior to start
