- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, typically 3 shifts per week
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Orientation: 48 hours
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,350 - $1,420
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend; every 3rd weekend noted in unit scheduling
- Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday
- Setting: Float-pool assignments based on unit needs, patient acuity, and staffing
Job Requirements
- Active Maryland or Compact LPN license required at time of submission
- At least 1 year of Licensed Practical Nurse experience required
- LTAC experience preferred
- Experience in locked-unit care, skilled nursing, med-surg/telemetry, or behavioral health preferred
- BLS required
- ACLS and Basic EKG preferred
- Comfort working with adult and geriatric patients
- Must be comfortable floating within scope to like units and supporting both medical and behavioral health populations
- Strong attendance and punctuality required; no tolerance for tardiness or unexcused absences
- Cerner and PointClickCare experience preferred
- References required
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care for adults and geriatric patients in LTAC and related post-acute care environments
- Support a broad range of patient needs, including wound care, post-acute recovery, chronic disease management, and behavioral health support
- Perform common LPN duties such as vital sign monitoring, blood glucose testing, admission support, medication administration, feeding tube care, oxygen administration, and ADL assistance
- Use isolation precautions and PPE appropriately to maintain a safe patient care environment
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including respiratory therapy, physical therapy, pharmacy, phlebotomy, radiology, and social services
- Adapt quickly to changing assignments and patient acuity across multiple units
- Deliver compassionate, attentive care while maintaining facility standards and workflow expectations
- Contribute to a positive, dependable team culture in a fast-paced clinical setting
