Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active RN license in Indiana or a compact state
- 2+ years of recent Telemetry and LTAC nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Ventilator and tracheostomy care experience required
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- 2 to 5 years of clinical nursing experience preferred for this travel RN assignment
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to LTAC and telemetry patients
- Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status
- Support ventilator and tracheostomy care as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and care team members to coordinate care
- Maintain clinical competencies and follow hospital policies and procedures
- Delegate and supervise patient care tasks appropriately
