Registered Nurse (RN) – LTAC travel assignment in Battle Creek, MI. 13-week contract; BLS & ACLS required; provide long-term acute care and rehabilitation as a skilled travel nurse.

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,890 - $1,990
• Location: Battle Creek, MI 49017 (Battle Creek, Michigan travel nursing)
• Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel RN)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 12 Hour Days (Day shift, 3 shifts per week)

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS Certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS Certification required prior to first shift
• Minimum 1 year of bedside clinical experience required (2 years highly desired)
• Experience in LTAC, sub-acute, surgical, or pediatric settings is a plus (LTAC nurse or rehabilitation nurse experience preferred)

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission
• Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and initiate discharge planning from admission
• Communicate changes in patient status to care team members to ensure continuity and safety
• Supervise and provide direction to Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees
• Promote patient and employee safety, adhering to hospital policies and procedures
• Contribute positively to unit team building and maintain a calm, supportive environment
• Identify and pursue professional growth opportunities (continuing education, specialty training)
