Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for long term care and geriatric nursing in Gillette, WY. This travel CNA role is ideal for caregivers with strong ADL support experience, familiarity with Meditech electronic medical records, and a commitment to resident-centered care.

Job Requirements

• Active Wyoming CNA license (permanent license required) — Wyoming CNA credential required for hire
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of CNA experience; 2+ years preferred (Med/Surg or geriatrics experience highly desirable)
• Ability to work all shifts and weekends as needed
• Flexibility to work in all neighborhoods/units within the facility based on staffing needs
• Compliance with facility dress code: ceil blue scrubs, no facial piercings, and tattoos must be covered per policy

Responsibilities

• Provide Activities of Daily Living (ADL) assistance to residents (ages mid-30s to mid-90s) with diverse diagnoses including dementia, Alzheimer’s, Huntington’s, diabetes, CAD, vascular disease, stroke, neuromuscular disorders, and rehabilitation needs
• Support a resident population of up to 125 with a typical CNA-to-resident ratio of 1:10–12
• Assist with clinical equipment and procedures: VS towers, glucometers, lifts, bladder scanners, IV pumps, CADD pumps, wound vacs, and other assistive devices
• Document resident care, vitals, and ADLs using Meditech electronic medical records (EMR)
• Collaborate closely with RNs, LPNs, nursing leadership, and support staff to maintain high-quality, resident-centered care
• Complete a comprehensive 2-day orientation and participate in ongoing training as required
