Job Requirements

  • Active CNA certification via Prometric Hawaii (required prior to contract start)
  • Minimum 1 year of CNA experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar LTC setting
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and every weekend
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and resident-focused skills
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care and adherence to regulatory standards

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct resident care and assistance in a long-term care facility (LTC CNA duties)
  • Support activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
  • Monitor, document, and report changes in resident health and behavior to nursing staff
  • Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality care
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
  • Deliver culturally sensitive care to a diverse resident population in Honolulu
