Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Travel Long-Term Care Job in Seattle, WA

Travel CNA Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,080–$1,160
- Location: Seattle, Washington
- Healthcare Setting: Long-term care and transitional care
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 5 shifts per week
- Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
- Weekend Schedule: Rotating weekend coverage, generally working two weekends followed by the third weekend off
- Floating: Required between long-term care and transitional care units
- Call: Not required
- Patient Population: Adults and geriatric patients
- Patient Ratios: Approximately 15–25 patients
- Orientation: 24 hours
- Parking: Free parking available
Certified Nursing Assistant Job Requirements
- Current CNA or Nurse Assistant certification/credential applicable to Washington practice
- At least 1 year of skilled long-term care or transitional care experience
- Current BLS certification
- Previous travel assignment experience required
- Experience documenting in electronic charting systems required
- Proficiency with adult and geriatric patient care
- Ability to float between long-term care and transitional care areas as needed
- Reliable transportation and the ability to meet the scheduled assignment requirements
- Two professional references covering recent CNA experience may be required during the compliance process
Certified Nursing Assistant Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and activities of daily living assistance to adult and geriatric patients
- Assist with bathing, showering, grooming, shaving, oral care, foot care, and perineal care
- Support safe ambulation, transfers, repositioning, and use of equipment such as Hoyer lifts and sit-to-stand devices
- Assist with feeding and maintain patient comfort, dignity, and safety
- Obtain and accurately record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure, orthostatic blood pressure, and oxygen saturation
- Perform glucometer testing as directed
- Provide incontinence care, skin care, pressure injury prevention, and isolation precautions according to established procedures
- Change occupied and unoccupied linens and maintain clean, safe patient areas
- Recognize and promptly report changes in patient condition to the licensed nursing team
- Document care and patient observations accurately in the electronic charting system
- Float between long-term care and transitional care units while maintaining high standards of patient-centered care
