Job Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico or Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or related healthcare setting
- Experience with medication administration, charting, and resident care in an LTC or SNF
- Able to work 12-hour day shifts
- Strong communication, teamwork, and resident-focused skills
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care as an LPN in a long-term care setting
- Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and facility protocols
- Monitor, assess, and document residents’ health status and progress in the EMR
- Support development and implementation of care plans and communicate with interdisciplinary team members
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and promote independence
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records and follow LTC documentation standards
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and fall-prevention protocols
