Travel LPN Job – Long Term Care Assignment in Hilo, Hawaii
Join a compassionate long-term care team in Hilo on the beautiful Big Island of Hawaii. Job Requirements
- Active LPN license in good standing
- At least 1 year of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting
- Experience with patient assessments, medication administration, and treatment support
- Ability to provide safe, compassionate nursing care in a variable-shift environment
- Flu vaccination required or approved medical/religious exception prior to start
- Must be able to arrive the Thursday before the start date for employee health clearance
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and report pertinent changes to the physician or advanced practice provider
- Administer medications and carry out ordered treatments
- Support admissions and discharges as needed
- Assist with activities of daily living and resident comfort
- Provide gastrostomy tube care, urinary catheter care, nebulized treatments, wound vac care, and CPAP care
- Document care accurately and contribute to a positive, resident-centered long-term care environment
