Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Rhode Island (RI)
- Minimum 1 year of LPN clinical experience (long-term care/LTC preferred)
- Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or equivalent
- Strong communication, teamwork, and resident-centered care skills
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document medication administration
- Monitor, assess, and document resident health status and changes
- Follow care plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and support overall well-being
- Respond promptly to resident needs, emergencies, and on-shift concerns
