Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Active LPN license in New Mexico or valid compact-state LPN license
- Long-Term Care (LTC) or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Proven clinical skills in medication administration, wound care, and resident assessments
- Ability to commit to 12-hour day shifts and 36 hours/week for the contract duration
- Strong communication, teamwork, and resident-centered care approach
- Reliable documentation skills and ability to follow facility and regulatory standards
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a Long-Term Care/skilled nursing setting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor resident responses
- Perform routine assessments, monitor changes in condition, and document findings accurately
- Collaborate with RNs, providers, and interdisciplinary teams to support individualized care plans
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and documentation standards
- Promote resident safety, dignity, comfort, and quality of life at all times
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and care team members
