Job Requirements / Qualifications

  • Licensure: Active LPN license (valid in New Mexico)
  • Minimum 1 year of LPN clinical experience (Long-Term Care/LTC experience preferred)
  • Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts on-site
  • Strong clinical skills: medication administration, ADLs support, basic wound care
  • Excellent documentation skills (EMR experience preferred) and effective communication

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in an LTC setting
  • Perform focused assessments and monitor resident conditions, reporting changes to charge nurse or RN
  • Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and support mobility and safety
  • Document nursing care accurately and timely in the EMR and complete shift reports
  • Communicate resident needs and clinical changes to the interdisciplinary team and participate in care planning
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents, families, and staff

Preferred Skills & Keywords

  • Experience with geriatric nursing, skilled nursing facility (SNF), or LTC nursing
  • Familiarity with infection control, falls prevention, and pressure injury prevention
