• Duration: 15 weeks
• Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts per week (7:00am – 7:30pm); every other weekend and holiday required
• Orientation: Must be able to start on a Tuesday or Thursday for full-shift orientation (5x8 hour shifts)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1400 - $1480 per week

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active New York LPN licensure (required)
• BLS certification (AHA or RQI required)
• Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in a Long Term Care (LTC) or skilled nursing setting
• Experience with adult and geriatric care, chronic disease management, and medication administration
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills; ability to work with an interdisciplinary team
• Professionalism, leadership skills, and commitment to resident-centered care

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care for assigned residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Collect and report data on residents’ physical and psychosocial conditions to the RN and interdisciplinary team
• Contribute to development, implementation, and revision of individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments according to facility policies and nursing standards
• Participate in mentoring and orientation of staff as needed
• Maintain current nursing competency through continuing education and training
• Ensure a safe, healthy, and culturally sensitive environment; adhere to infection control and safety protocols
• Demonstrate leadership, professionalism, and a patient-centered approach in all clinical activities
