Join a dedicated long-term care team in Waterloo, NY (Finger Lakes region) providing compassionate care to adult and geriatric residents in a supportive skilled nursing facility (SNF) environment. Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,500 – $1,580
• Location: Waterloo, NY 13165 — Finger Lakes nursing jobs; easy access to scenic recreation and local community amenities
• Employment Type: Travel Contract (LPN travel job)
• Start Date: April 28, 2026
• End Date: July 25, 2026
• Shift: Part-time Evenings (2 shifts week 1, 3 shifts week 2; 8-hour shifts)
• Weekend/Holiday: Rotation required
• Duration: 13 weeks

Requirements / Qualifications

• Active New York Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure — required for LPN jobs in Waterloo, NY
• BLS certification (AHA or RQI)
• Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in a long-term care facility or skilled nursing facility (SNF)
• Ability to provide age-appropriate, geriatric nursing care for adult and elderly residents
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Responsibilities

• Collect and communicate data relevant to residents' physical and psychosocial conditions
• Contribute to the development and revision of individualized care plans for long-term care residents
• Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal outcomes
• Maintain current knowledge and competency in nursing practice through ongoing education and compliance with facility standards
• Participate in mentoring and orientation of staff as needed
• Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Promote a safe, healthy, and culturally relevant environment for residents
