Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,500 - $1,580
• Location: Waterloo, NY 13165 — Finger Lakes, Upstate New York
• Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel LPN)
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 4/28/2026, End: 7/25/2026)
• Shift: Full-time evenings, 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift (EOW/Holiday required)
• Orientation: Must be able to start full-shift orientation on a Tuesday or Thursday
• Number of Positions: 2

Job Requirements

• Active NY LPN Licensure (Licensed Practical Nurse — New York)
• BLS certification (AHA or RQI only)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an LPN in a long-term care (LTC) facility
• Ability to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as required

Key Responsibilities — LPN / Long-Term Care Nurse

• Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care for assigned residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
• Collect and communicate clinical data related to residents' physical and psychosocial condition to the RN and interdisciplinary team
• Contribute to the development and revision of age-appropriate, culturally relevant care plans for adult and geriatric populations
• Collaborate with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive long-term care
• Maintain current knowledge and competency in nursing practice through continuing education and in-service programs
• Participate in mentoring and orientation of staff, demonstrating leadership and professionalism
• Consider safety, cost, and impact in planning and delivering resident-centered care
• Demonstrate knowledge of principles of growth and development across the lifespan, with a focus on adult and geriatric nursing
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for residents
