Job Details

  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,500 - $1,580
  • Location: Waterloo, NY (Zip: 13165) — Travel LPN job in New York / Finger Lakes
  • Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 5/5/2026 – End: 8/1/2026)
  • Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Shift: 8-hour shifts (Days and/or Evenings as scheduled). Must be able to start on Tuesday/Thursday for full-shift orientation.
  • Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday required
  • Number of Positions: 7 openings

Job Requirements

  • Active NY LPN licensure (Licensed Practical Nurse) — New York nursing license required
  • BLS certification (AHA or RQI)
  • Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility
  • Ability to provide age-appropriate and geriatric nursing care to adult and elderly residents

Responsibilities

As an LPN on this long-term care travel assignment, you will deliver direct and indirect skilled nursing care, contribute to resident-centered care planning, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote resident safety and quality of life.

  • Collect and communicate clinical data relevant to residents' physical and psychosocial condition
  • Contribute to developmentally and culturally appropriate care plans and recommend revisions as needed
  • Facilitate referrals and coordinate with interdisciplinary team members, residents, and families
  • Maintain current nursing knowledge and competency through continuing education
  • Participate in orientation and mentoring of staff
  • Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care under RN supervision, demonstrating leadership and professionalism
  • Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures in the LTC/skilled nursing setting
