- Duration: 9 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour days (5:45 AM – 6:15 PM)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $920 – $970
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license — must meet state requirements for Maine
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in long-term care or a similar LTC/skilled nursing environment
- Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts (travel LPN schedule)
- Strong communication, teamwork, and resident-centered care skills
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
- Experience with medication administration, documentation/charting, and resident assessments preferred
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and follow med-pass policies
- Monitor, assess, and document resident conditions; report changes to RNs and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, therapists, and other staff to implement individualized care plans
- Support residents with activities of daily living and promote a respectful, person-centered environment
- Maintain infection control standards and follow facility policies for safety and compliance
