- Shift: 12-hour day shifts
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday Requirement: 3 out of 6 major holidays
- Charting System: Cerner
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar long-term care, behavioral health, or rehabilitation setting
- IV experience required
- BLS certification required
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with physicians, psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and addiction counselors
- Comfort working with behavioral health, detox, and rehabilitation patient populations
- Ability to remain professional, compassionate, and proactive in a highly monitored, patient-focused environment
- Must be able to work collaboratively across multiple units as assigned
Responsibilities
- Complete patient admissions and assessments
- Administer medications and complete medication pass duties at the nursing desk
- Support patient care plans for behavioral health, detox, rehab, and long-term care needs
- Lead or assist with patient groups, with an emphasis on medication education
- Provide IV-related care and other nursing interventions as needed
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to support safe, effective patient outcomes
- Float to other units as needed based on facility needs
- Maintain a professional, engaged presence while delivering high-quality patient care
