  • Shift: 8 Hour Days (Actual: 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday–Friday; Preferred: 8:00am – 4:30pm)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico or compact RN license accepted
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience, preferably in long-term care, LTC nursing, or nursing management
  • Proven leadership, nursing management, and staff supervision skills
  • Strong organizational, communication, and clinical decision-making abilities
  • Able to work independently and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Current BLS certification required

Responsibilities / Clinical Leadership

  • Oversee daily operations of the nursing unit to ensure high-quality resident care and safety
  • Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff; promote best practices in LTC nursing
  • Coordinate resident care plans and communicate effectively with physicians and allied health professionals
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with regulatory standards, facility policies, and quality measures
  • Conduct resident assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and complete required reporting
  • Foster a positive, safe, and resident-centered environment for both residents and staff
