Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography or a related imaging specialty
- Current ARRT certification in Mammography
- Active BLS certification
- Experience in a hospital, outpatient imaging, or breast imaging setting preferred
- Ability to work a consistent weekday schedule in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong patient care, communication, and diagnostic image-quality skills
- Commitment to accuracy, professionalism, and safe imaging practices
- Availability to work required holiday coverage as scheduled
Responsibilities
- Perform mammography exams in accordance with clinical protocols and quality standards
- Prepare patients for imaging and provide clear, compassionate instructions throughout the process
- Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety, patient safety, and departmental procedures
- Maintain accurate records and support efficient workflow within the imaging team
- Collaborate with radiology staff and providers to support timely, excellent patient care
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and patient-centered imaging environment
