Travel Nursing Job Details

- Weekend and Holiday Coverage: Every other weekend and every other holiday
Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Massachusetts
- At least 1 year of travel nursing experience
- Recent Medical/Surgical or comparable acute-care nursing experience
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including alternating weekends and holidays
- Strong patient assessment, prioritization, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to remain calm, flexible, and safety-focused in a highly active clinical environment
Med/Surg Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ED PCS Boarder Program
- Care for patients in hallway spaces and designated bays while maintaining privacy, safety, and dignity
- Complete patient assessments, administer medications, monitor patient status, and communicate changes to the healthcare team
- Coordinate care across multiple clinical areas and efficiently locate required medications, supplies, and equipment
- Prioritize nursing care effectively in a setting with rapid patient turnover and a consistently high level of activity
- Document care accurately and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes
