Job Requirements
- Current Oklahoma RN license or compact RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience preferred and required for this assignment
- BLS and ACLS required
- PALS required within 6 months of the start date
- Cerner experience preferred
- Ability to work night shift hospital jobs and float as needed
- Strong teamwork, communication, time-management, and clinical judgment skills
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, high-quality patient care on the Medical-Surgical unit
- Complete ongoing assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support individualized care plans
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the EMR
- Respond to changing patient needs with confidence, critical thinking, and sound clinical judgment
- Support a patient-centered environment focused on quality outcomes and excellent nursing care
- Float to other areas as required by unit needs
