Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical / Med-Surg nursing experience
- BLS certification required
- Cerner experience preferred
- Ability to work night shifts and alternating weekends
- Must meet travel assignment criteria
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and adaptability
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality bedside care to adult Med/Surg patients
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status
- Administer medications and treatments according to care plans
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
- Support patient education and discharge planning
- Maintain a calm, compassionate presence in a busy acute care clinical setting
