Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of Med/Surg nursing or acute care experience
- Strong assessment, documentation, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Experience caring for patients across the age spectrum
- Comfort working in a fast-paced critical access hospital setting
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with varying acuity levels
- Assess patient needs, implement the nursing process, and document findings in the EMR
- Direct patient care activities and support daily clinical operations
- Collaborate with ancillary staff to promote safe, efficient patient care
- Communicate clearly with providers and coworkers regarding patient conditions and updates
- Support Med/Surg-only patient care needs with professionalism and compassion
