Job Requirements
- Active California Registered Nurse license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Strong Medical-Surgical and telemetry experience preferred
- Ability to adapt to a rotating schedule and float when needed
- Must meet compliance requirements prior to start, including required verification and documentation
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to Medical-Surgical patients
- Monitor telemetry and assess for changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
- Administer medications, complete treatments, and document care accurately
- Respond promptly to patient needs and escalate concerns appropriately
- Maintain a professional, team-oriented approach in a busy acute care environment
- Support unit needs through flexible floating and participation in weekend coverage
