Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio, or eligibility to obtain before start date
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and patient communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced acute care or hospital nursing setting
- Current BLS certification preferred
- Flexibility to work night shift travel nurse schedules and collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to adult Med/Surg patients
- Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and communicate updates to the healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical protocols and nursing standards
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary staff to support patient recovery
- Document patient care accurately and maintain high standards of clinical practice
- Support discharge planning and patient education to promote positive patient outcomes
- Respond to changing patient needs with professionalism, attention to detail, and sound clinical judgment
